Is it possible for either or both of you to post updates about the 15th here so all of us can read them? I am the web master for this site. I was with the 15th in Vietnam '68-'69 - PLT LDR 1st Platoon, B Company; XO A Company; 9th DIV LNO to the 199th LIB. Let me know if I can be of any help. I do not remember anyone putting restrictions on their photos being use in other places/web pages, as long as they were given credit. I would have marked them as copyright materail. |

The Battalion will be based here in Schweinfurt, Germany. The date is set for the middle of the year but can't post it on the internet. So here goes. (My oldest son, a United States Marine, calls me an SOB - Senile Old Bastard - guess he's correct). All the information you sent has been posted. I hope I presented it correctly. Let me know of any corrections that are needed. (The Go Devil lapel pin I have is from when I briefed Colonel Hemphill, CO 3rd Brigade regarding planned 9th ID combat activity). Hopefully you have additional photos/information/stories about your time during WWII to share with others. I will post it all. I am amazed at the requests posted on Division, Brigade, Battalion websites by wives, sons, daughters, grandchildren asking, after a loved one has died, for information about that soldier - since they never talked about it when they were alive.
